On The Run Editorial- Motion and Stills

Part 2 - “On The Run”

I had the incredible opportunity to work on an editorial with model @ela.leora and stylist Edith Chan @edithc.style on a really fun and wide-ranging collaboration working on fashion films, editorial and commercial videos, and stills, trying to bring some ideas into focus, pun intended!

We created several looks based on the idea of celebrity culture and how we try to capture it. We had the idea of a young starlet going from campaign to the streets and how a photoshoot can evolve and range from beauty to voyeur.

Part 1 was our version of late night in the beautiful city of Madrid, you can see it here.

And Part 2 is our commentary on the paparazzi and street-style images around celebrity and popular culture. The tension between the need for the celebrity circus and the intrusion into personal life spilling into the streets is an uneven, sometimes perilous, balance.

See what we created for Part 3 here and view more of my Fashion Work (Mode) and my Motion Work

One of the things I’m constantly striving for on the business side is how to stay creative and relevant in a way that can keep pace with today’s timelines and budgets. This project was designed to test the range and types of video and stills that we could create with limited time and resources.
