Marketing Images & Custom Website For A Madrid School

Nowhere is trust and clear communication more important than in schools. Prospective parents analyze every part of school before choosing to entrust their child's education to them. Yet, so many school websites are poorly laid out and the imagery is often "snapped" haphazardly by parents and staff without an effort to share the school's story in a way that parents will understand and identify with.

They're not alone, it's the case for many businesses. We often feel so busy that we don't take the time to craft images that tell our story. Behind-the-scenes and candid images are great as part of the strategy, but a cohesive set of professional images is an essential part of the strategy. We often take what we do for granted and it starts to feel repetitive, but repetitive translates to consistent for those who aren't in our business every day. That's why having someone outside of your business to help you tell that story can be very powerful.

We had the opportunity to help this school tell its story about what sets it apart. With so many school choices, we wanted to help them define their value and visually demonstrate what it feels like to be a student at their school. We wanted to let the parents see through their child’s eyes!. Plus, many of us don't have a personal experience with a Montessori school so creating that experience visually was important.

After speaking to the administrators and discussing the goals and marketing needs, we set out to tell the story of a school that shows the development and progress of the students from their first days in kindergarten to their time in the new adolescent program. Additionally, we wanted to tell the story of the unique activities that they experienced during their school days.

Project Details:

  • 3 days

  • 4 Locations / Used Natural Light only as not to disturb the classrooms more than necessary

  • After School Activities

  • Delivered a Libray of photo and video assets customized for the new website and future use.

    • Variety of shots: Action, Environmental, Portrait, Lifestyle

    • Variety of crops: we delivered a diverse set of image crops (vertical, horizontal, 16x9, square) and options that will give them a variety of choices suitable for social media, website hero images, website callout images, social media banners, etc…

    • Custom Image color treatment to match the color and feel of the school’s classrooms and their marketing and brand colors

In the end, we created a well-rounded archive of photos and worked with TNQ Studios to develop images specifically for their custom website and all of their marketing needs.
