Portraits For The Editorial Team of Cleverish Magazine

I had the amazing privilege to work with the insanely talented team at @cleverishmag for some branding images for their website…basically, 6-7 cool ass people showed up at the studio to shoot for a few hours…we did groups and some portraits (several of them are some of my favorite portraits ever!). The goal of their editorial photo session was branding photos to use throughout their social media and online channels to show their staff and to share their visual message alongside their articles.

The vibe was young, relaxed, and quirky and we worked through several setups to get a mix of brand photos that felt cohesive but also gave them some versatility. One was group shots for various pieces on their website and then portraits for each of the writers. The personal portraits were a lot of fun and as you can see their personalities really came out in the photos and everyone was relaxed and gave a personal feel to them even though they were shot in a studio.

Life does not get any better than working with other artists and creators to produce interesting images! This was one of those assignments that blended your art and your assignment and made me glad to be a photographer!
