Portrait Experiments In Silhouette
That obsession was how powerful a silhouette can be in a photo. I was enamored with the idea that it could be aesthetically, beautiful, but also very personal. It struck me that you could identify these individuals quickly with nothing but their silhouette if you knew them, and it really sparked the idea of storytelling within portraiture, and playing with absence, and of course, shadow, because if you know me, you know, I love a good dark shadow.

This song is near and dear to my heart, we recorded the original version: “La Despeinada” in Spanish over a year ago and I had to wait an entire year to share the video and this beautiful song with you all!
It was so successful that Fernando and The FO’s wrote it in Portuguese and we recorded a cool video to share this version.

Sexy Gulls was a new brand of eco-friendly swimwear designed and manufactured in Spain and Portugal and sold in the US and Australia. The client wanted a luxury location, but not too “modern” so we scouted for with a colorful, locatiion with a european villa feel.
